Watch-only Accounts ​

Track an SS58 address without importing a private key. Helpful for cold storage labels or third-party observation.

Add a watch-only account ​

From Add Account > Watch Only:

  1. Paste or type the SS58 address.
  2. Set a label.
  3. Tap Add.

Stay within read-only limits ​

Watch-only rows cannot send TAO, sign extrinsics, or act as a dApp signer. When a watch-only account is active, the home Send entry stays hidden.

Upgrade when the address is a pure proxy ​

If the address is actually a pure proxy on-chain, import the proxy relationship to promote the row to a Pure Proxy account. Labels and ordering in the list are preserved while proxy tooling becomes available.
