Send and Receive ​

On both Send and Receive, the main navigation bar stays hidden. Use the back arrow to return.

Send TAO ​

Move through three steps: form, confirm, then result.

Fill out the transfer form ​

Pick the sending account. If several accounts can send, tap the sender card to open the picker. Eligible senders include:

  • Accounts that can sign sends directly (software, Ledger, Vault, dev).
  • Pure proxy accounts whose controller is resolved.
  • Accounts that have a delegate proxy configured.

Enter the recipient address (validated as you type), the amount in TAO, and optionally tap Max to send all available balance.

A warning appears if the recipient is the same as the sender.

Pure or multisig-controlled senders ​

If the sender is a pure proxy or a proxy controlled by a multisig, an alert explains the transfer must go through a multisig operation. Create Operation sends you to initiating a multisig operation.

Review and sign on the confirm step ​

You see From and To cards with full addresses and balances.

The fee section shows the network fee. When a proxy controller pays the fee, the label states that.

If the sender uses a delayed proxy, a warning notes the transfer will be announced first (not executed immediately) and gives an estimate from the proxy delay and block time.

Authenticate with password or passkey, or confirm on Ledger. A progress indicator runs while the extrinsic is broadcast.

Ledger failures open a device error sheet with retry and dismiss.

Read the result ​

Success shows amount sent, recipient, and a transaction hash that links to the block explorer on Finney. Tap Done to go back.

How fee estimation affects Max ​

Tapping Continue on the form runs fee estimation in the background. For a max send without a controller paying the fee, the amount adjusts automatically so the fee stays covered.

Receive TAO ​

The receive view shows a 200 by 200 pixel QR code for the active address, the account label, and a copy control.

If the active account is watch-only or no account exists, the screen navigates back immediately.
